Education Ministry

1. Purpose
   • Ministry that develops among churchgoers and volunteers a deeper awareness and understanding of Christian faith through the Holy Scriptures, Catholic Doctrines and Christian formation seminars.
     
     
2. Functions & Responsibilities
   • Determines the scope of formation and evangelization programs according to the Vision-Mission of the Archdiocese of Manila and the goals and objectives of the Shrine.
   • Plans and prepares activities & socio-spiritual formation programs relevant to the needs of the Shrine volunteers and churchgoers.
   • Provides seminars or trainings related in carrying out the evangelization or formation programs.
   • Identifies roles of other ministries, organizations or individuals participating in a given project.
     
     
3. Composition
   • A chairperson appointed by Shrine Rector and 5 members ideally the coordinators of each Shrine organization:
     • Special Ministers of the Holy Communion
     • Lectors & Commentators Guild
     • Ladies of the Altar
     • Servants of the Altar
     • Music Ministry & others that the Office of the Rector appoints
       
       
4. Term of Office
   • One year subject to renewal and unless the Office of the Rector does otherwise.
