Server of the Altar (SOA)
The youngest volunteers at the Shrine of Jesus are the Servants of the Altar. They assist the priest during the Eucharistic celebrations and other liturgical functions. They are tasked to ring the bell and bring the cruets with wine and water, washing bowl and towel to be used by the priest during the consecration. They do these with reverence and commitment.
