Lectors and Commentators Guild (LCG)
Armed with good communication skills, the Lector-and-Commentator volunteers commit themselves as effective readers of the Word of God. The Lectors bring life to the Holy Word. They must display spiritual inspiration, as if Christ is present through the proclamation of the Readings. The Commentators, on the other hand, lead the faithful in common responses, and in praying the Nicene Creed, General Intercessions and Petitions. They are responsible for a smooth and orderly flow of the entire Eucharistic Celebration, and read special instructions and announcements as needed.
